most ron paul supporters don’t know shit about ron paul. ^ LOOK AT THIS. ^

No, most people who claim to know about the political stances of politicians “don’t know shit.” Is this ad offensive? Hell yes. But there’s not even a consulting firm listed, and furthermore stereotypes are used every single fucking day by EVERYONE in ads on television, the radio, on the internet, and in print for EVERYTHING. Doesn’t make it right, but it doesn’t completely take away from everything the politician stands for.
The important issue here is why  RP sponsored the Social Security Preservation and Fairness Acts, and if you don’t know then I’ll help you. RP is fiscally conservative, meaning he thinks the government spends too much money on things that they cannot afford (among other things, but this is the basis). Here’s a real-time clock that tracks the United States’ debt in case you’re unaware of our current economic standing. Now, RP has this insane concept that maybe the government should learn to budget money, you know, like society expects families to because as it stands we’re going down the shitter at the speed of light. And to put that more eloquently, the Fed usually just prints more money, which causes inflation (meaning your money is worth less), annndddd it raises the prices of items, which means that more families go on welfare and depend more upon their social security checks during retirement because their savings got eaten up by inflation.
Soo, then the government with their balloon-sized budget dips their hands into our already rapidly decreasing social security funds (i.e. YOUR money) and uses that to pay for things. RP is always against ridiculous federal spending. He is trying to stop this. He wants individuals to be able to keep their hard-earned money. That is also why he voted for this measure, because essentially, the U.S. is like a bankrupt family that is trying to pay for it’s nieces and nephews to go to college (i.e. paying social security to non-citizens). We first need to get the family back in good economic-standing before helping others.
